SingleCase supports all common billing options from hourly rates through flat fee and contingency fee to lawyer fare where applicable. To set up billing on a project/case, click on the Cogwheel icon in case settings.

where you select the Billing tab. Here you can set the Currency, Billing Language, Amount Limit , Hours Limit, Billing Entity

You can also set up different Billing Types here.

1. Hourly rate by roles - charges the amount according to the user's role setting. You can set the amount for each role separately on each project/case.

2. Hourly rate by individuals - here, each user has a different hourly rate, which is not affected by their role.

3. Unified hourly rate – the same hourly rate will be applied for each user.

TIP! For all hourly billing types you can set a cap in the form of hours or financial amount. The app will then notify you when the cap is exceeded.

4. By task -Billing for tasks that you and the client agree on. When submitting timesheets, the user must select the appropriate activity according to the name of the set task.

Similar to cap, the app will notify you when you exceed the amount for a task (calculated according to the hourly rate of the user's reporting role).

5. Flat fee

If you want to invoice multiple projects/case with one flat fee, set the general flat feevalue in the client "My Name"->Client->Settings->Billing. Then set the flat fee billing and the lflat rate value to 0 on the individual projects/cases to be included in the flat fee. In billing, all statements will then be grouped into one flat rate with the value specified in the client settings.

6. Lawyers fare – is charged by the task, regardless of the time spent (which is still counted for reporting purposes).
